Classes & Workshops
Learn basic metalworking technique to make a pin, pendant, or belt buckle. Instruction is individualized to skill level of each student.
Students will acquire basic metalworking techniques to make jewelry out of sterling silver, copper, or brass.
Materials used will be silver, copper, or brass. Solder, torches, and all necessary tools are provided.
Students provide metal, findings, and sandpaper.
Demonstrations will include:
- design
- sawing
- filing
- soldering
- texturing
- polishing
- stone setting
All workshops $95.00
6 hours $50 Non-refundable deposit is required
Beginning students will make 3 pieces: pin, pendant, or belt buckle; ring; simple stone setting.
More advanced students will make: cuff bracelet, link bracelet, hollow constructed pieces, round beads, more complex stone settings.
Limited space: 5 students in each class!
